3. How We Use Personal Data

We may use personal data to:

  • Operate, maintain and improve the Platform
  • Provide search, discovery and location-relevant results
  • Authenticate users and enable eligible Platform features
  • Create, review, claim, verify, moderate and update merchant listings
  • Respond to enquiries, reports and support requests
  • Detect and prevent spam, fraud, abuse and security threats
  • Measure Platform performance and understand usage trends
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies
  • Establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary

We process personal data for lawful purposes and seek to limit collection and use to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.

4. Mobile Number and OTP Verification

Certain features may require mobile-number verification through a one-time password. We may process the mobile number, authentication status, verification attempts and related security information to authenticate access, protect merchant contact details, apply reasonable usage limits and prevent misuse.

Authentication services may be provided through an authorised third-party service provider acting on Ensuric's behalf.

5. Public Merchant Information

Information intended to identify, describe or promote a business may be displayed publicly as part of a merchant listing. This may include the business name, address, contact details, operating hours, description, categories, services, highlights, service areas, images and external links.

Merchants and their representatives should not submit personal information for public display unless they are authorised and comfortable making it publicly accessible.

The creation, management, correction and removal of merchant listings are addressed in our Merchant Listing Policy.

6. Location Information

We may use approximate location information to improve discovery and display merchants relevant to a user's selected or inferred area.

Where the Platform requests access to a more precise location, access will depend on the user's device or browser permissions. Users may change those permissions through their device or browser settings.

Ensuric does not continuously track a user's location.

7. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, support authentication, improve security and understand Platform usage.

We may use analytics services to measure visits, traffic sources, device information, interactions and general usage trends. Such information helps us improve Platform performance, content and user experience.

Browser settings may allow users to block or delete cookies. Disabling certain technologies may affect the operation of some Platform features.

8. How We Share Personal Data

Ensuric does not sell personal data. We may disclose personal data where reasonably necessary to:

  • Cloud hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, security and other service providers
  • Professional advisers such as legal, accounting or compliance advisers
  • Government, regulatory, judicial or law-enforcement authorities where required or permitted by law
  • A buyer, successor or relevant party in connection with a merger, restructuring, financing, acquisition or transfer of all or part of the business
  • Protect the rights, safety, security and integrity of Ensuric, the Platform, users, merchants or others

Service providers are permitted to process personal data only for authorised purposes and subject to appropriate contractual, technical or organisational safeguards.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to operate the Platform, maintain security, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information, its sensitivity, operational requirements and applicable law. When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymise or securely archive it as permitted by law.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable technical, organisational and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction.

These safeguards may include encrypted transmission, access controls, authentication measures, monitoring, backups and restrictions on administrative access.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Where required by applicable law, we will take appropriate steps in response to a personal-data breach, including notifications to affected individuals or authorities.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law and reasonable verification, you may have the right to:

  • Request information about personal data processed by Ensuric
  • Request correction, completion or updating of inaccurate personal data
  • Request erasure of personal data where legally applicable
  • Withdraw consent where consent is the basis of processing
  • Raise a grievance concerning the handling of personal data
  • Nominate another individual to exercise applicable rights in the event of death or incapacity, where provided by law

Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully before withdrawal. It may also limit our ability to provide features that require the relevant personal data.

Privacy requests and grievances may be submitted through our Contact Us page.

12. Children's Personal Data

The Platform is intended for general audiences and is not designed for children to independently create accounts, submit merchant listings or provide personal data where parental or guardian consent is required by applicable law.

If we learn that personal data has been collected from a child in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, we may take reasonable steps to delete it or obtain the required consent.

13. Third-Party Services

The Platform may contain links or actions that direct users to merchant websites, maps, messaging services, social-media platforms or other third-party services.

Those services operate independently and process information under their own privacy notices and terms. Ensuric is not responsible for their independent privacy practices.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Platform, our data practices, operational requirements or applicable law.
