Merchant Listing Policy

Version: 1.0

Effective date: 1 August 2026

This Merchant Listing Policy explains how business listings are created, managed, updated and moderated on Ensuric.

It applies to all merchant listings published on the Platform, whether submitted by a Merchant or created by Ensuric using lawfully available information.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Platform Disclaimer. Those documents govern the broader use of the Platform, while this Policy specifically governs Merchant Listings.

1. Purpose

Ensuric is a local business discovery platform that helps Users discover and connect directly with Merchants.

To support a useful and trustworthy directory, Merchant Listings may be created, reviewed, corrected, updated, suspended or removed in accordance with this Policy.

2. How Merchant Listings Are Created

A Merchant Listing may be created through one or more of the following methods:

  • A Merchant submitting its own business information.
  • An owner or authorised representative claiming an existing Listing.
  • Ensuric creating a Listing using lawfully available business information.
  • Information received through approved Platform features introduced in the future.

The presence of a Listing on Ensuric does not, by itself, mean that the Merchant has claimed the Listing or that Ensuric has verified, endorsed or recommended the Merchant.

3. Information Used for Listings

Where appropriate, Ensuric may create or supplement a Listing using information that is lawfully available, including information published by the Merchant itself.

This may include:

  • business name and category;
  • public contact details;
  • business address or service area;
  • operating hours;
  • public website and business social-media profiles;
  • publicly displayed photographs or logos where their use is legally permitted; and
  • other relevant, lawfully available business information.

Information may be corrected, restricted or removed after Ensuric reviews a legitimate request or becomes aware that continued publication is inaccurate, unlawful or otherwise inappropriate.

4. Merchant Responsibilities

A Merchant that submits, claims or manages a Listing is responsible for ensuring that the information and Content it provides are:

  • accurate, complete and current;
  • not misleading;
  • lawful to submit and publish;
  • provided with all permissions, licences and authorisations required for their use; and
  • updated when material changes occur.

Merchants should ensure that their descriptions, photographs, logos, services, availability, location, contact information and operating details accurately represent the business.

5. Claiming an Existing Listing

A business owner or authorised representative may request to claim an existing Listing.

To protect Merchants and Users, Ensuric may request reasonable information or evidence to confirm the claimant's identity, authority or relationship with the business.

A claim may be approved, rejected, delayed or withdrawn where the information provided is insufficient, inconsistent, disputed or reasonably suspected to be inaccurate or fraudulent.

6. Managing a Claimed Listing

After a Listing has been successfully claimed and applicable verification requirements have been completed, the Merchant may become eligible to manage supported Listing information.

Depending on available features, this may include:

  • business and contact details;
  • operating hours and availability;
  • categories, services and business highlights;
  • service areas, delivery information or interaction modes;
  • photographs, logos and other supported media; and
  • other information supported by the Platform.

Listing changes may require moderation before they become publicly visible. Claiming a Listing does not create a right to publish any particular information or Content.

7. Moderation

Ensuric may review newly created Listings, claim requests, Listing updates, media uploads, reports and other Listing-related submissions.

As part of moderation, Ensuric may:

  • approve, reject or delay a submission;
  • request clarification or supporting information;
  • correct formatting, spelling or categorisation;
  • remove duplicate, irrelevant or unsupported information;
  • merge duplicate Listings; or
  • restrict publication while ownership, accuracy or compliance is reviewed.

Moderation is intended to maintain Platform quality and reduce misuse. It does not make Ensuric responsible for independently verifying every statement made by a Merchant.

8. Photos and Media

Merchants must upload only photographs, logos, documents and other media that they own or are authorised to use.

Media must not:

  • misrepresent the business, its products or its services;
  • infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • contain unlawful, deceptive or inappropriate material; or
  • violate applicable law or Platform policies.

Ensuric may crop, resize, compress, optimise or otherwise technically process media for display, accessibility, security and Platform performance. Unsuitable or non-compliant media may be rejected or removed.

9. Listing Accuracy

Business information can change over time. Although Ensuric may take reasonable steps to improve Listing quality, it does not guarantee that every Listing will always be complete, current or error-free.

Merchants should review their Listings periodically and submit corrections when material details change. Users should independently confirm information that is important to their decision or transaction.

10. Reporting Incorrect Information

Merchants and Users may report incorrect, outdated or inappropriate Listing information through the reporting or contact options made available by Ensuric.

Reports may relate to matters such as:

  • incorrect contact details, hours, location or service area;
  • duplicate Listings;
  • a permanently closed or relocated business;
  • incorrect categories or business details;
  • impersonation or disputed ownership;
  • unauthorised photographs or other Content; or
  • other material inaccuracies or policy concerns.

Ensuric may review the available information and request additional details before making a change. A report does not guarantee immediate alteration or removal of a Listing.

11. Duplicate Listings

Ensuric aims to maintain one primary Listing for each distinct business location or service operation where reasonably practicable.

Duplicate Listings may be merged, redirected, corrected or removed after review. Separate Listings may be retained where they legitimately represent different locations, branches, operators or business offerings.

12. Listing Visibility

The presence, placement and visibility of a Listing may depend on factors such as:

  • search relevance and geographic proximity;
  • business availability and service coverage;
  • Listing completeness and information quality;
  • moderation, claim or verification status;
  • User preferences and Platform quality signals; and
  • other factors relevant to the operation of the Platform.

Ensuric does not guarantee any Listing a particular position, level of visibility, number of views, enquiries or customers. Promotional or sponsored placements, if introduced, may be identified separately from organic results where reasonably practicable.

13. Suspension, Restriction or Removal

Ensuric may restrict, suspend, unpublish or remove a Listing where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • information is materially inaccurate or misleading;
  • ownership or authority is disputed or cannot be confirmed;
  • a Listing is duplicate, fraudulent or impersonates another business;
  • the business has closed or no longer operates as represented;
  • the Merchant repeatedly violates applicable Platform policies;
  • publication may infringe third-party rights or applicable law;
  • removal is required by a lawful direction; or
  • continued publication creates a material trust, safety, legal or operational concern.

Where appropriate, Ensuric may request additional information or allow a Merchant to address the concern before taking permanent action. Immediate action may be taken where reasonably necessary.

14. Verification

Ensuric may introduce verification methods or indicators for certain Listings or Listing information.

Verification means only that specified checks were completed using the method described by Ensuric at the relevant time. It is not an endorsement, certification or guarantee of a Merchant's quality, legality, reliability, conduct, products or services.

A verification status may be withheld, limited, suspended or withdrawn where the underlying information changes or applicable requirements are no longer satisfied.

15. Future Merchant Features

As Ensuric evolves, Merchant Listings may support additional features such as merchant dashboards, enhanced media, reviews and responses, Collections, bookings, online payments, subscriptions, promotional tools, advertising products, analytics, APIs and mobile applications.

Additional feature-specific terms, eligibility requirements, disclosures or policies may apply when those features are made available.

16. Changes to this Policy

Ensuric may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Platform, applicable requirements or business practices.

The latest version published on the Platform will apply from its stated effective date.
